Classic Cinnamon Yeast Coffee Cake

Ingredients for Cinnamon Yeast Coffee Cake:

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 glass and a half of flour
  • 1 glass and a half of sugar
  • Half a glass of sunflower oil
  • Half a glass of milk
  • 1 packet of yeast
  • One apple
  • Cinnamon powder
  • Ginger


1- In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Then add the oil and milk. We beat again.

2- Previously, we combine the flour with the yeast and incorporate it into the bowl. We mix everything very well.

3- Grated a little ginger and put it in the container. Peel the apple, cut it into cubes and add it too. With a spatula, remove the dough so that these last two ingredients are integrated.

4- Spread butter in a mold suitable for an oven. We dump the mixture and place it in the oven (it must be preheated to 180ºC) for approximately 30 minutes at 180ºC.

5- When the 30 minutes pass, we puncture with a stick or knife the sponge cake. If it comes out wet, we leave it 5 minutes more. When the stick comes out dry, we remove the cake from the oven.
